Emirati Man Stabs And Kills His Brother After A Fight About Their Father’s Car
A young Emirati man died following a fight with his brother over their father’s car in July 2017.
The 21 year old Emirati stabbed his brother multiple times with a knife following the altercation.
The man has now been charged with premeditated murder
The two brothers were at their home in the Al Rashidiya area when they began fighting over who would take their father’s car.
According to reports, the men went outside to fight, with the victim carrying a sword and the suspect carrying a knife.

Another brother intervened and stopped the fight but the victim fell unconscious and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect fled from the police
The victim’s brother and a second suspect, a friend, fled the hospital when the police were called to investigate.
They disposed of the knife before they were apprehended by the police and were both reported to be under the influence of drugs.
The victim’s brother has been charged with premeditated murder as well as drug charges.The second suspect was also charged for drug possession and with failure to report a crime to the authorities.
The hearing has been adjourned until January 24.
