There was an explosion in Karama earlier today where one person was injured. The incident took place this morning in the Al Maskan building. A security guard who works at the building raised the alarm.

According to a Dubai Civil Defence spokesperson, a gas cylinder exploded inside of a Karama restaurant at approximately 7am. All the residents were evacuated once the alarm was raised.
