In a bid to stay competitive, the government of Dubai, under the directive of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai announced government fees will not be raised over the next three years.

This comes after the introduction of the 5% value-added-tax (VAT) on January 1, 2018.

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai made the announcement on Sunday;

The ‘fees freeze’ will last three years

Following the directives of @HHShkMohd, we have issued an order to freeze Dubai Government public services fees for the next three years
