A Fire Has Erupted Close To The Beach Rotana In Abu Dhabi

A fire has erupted at a building close to the Beach Rotana complex in Abu Dhabi. It started at approximately 11am this morning.

According to a witness, the emergency services were extremely fast getting to the scene and are trying to control the blaze.

As a safety precaution, at 12:45 PM Abu Dhabi government officials requested that the Beach Rotana management evacuate its hotel.
