A Dubai Resident Leaves A Fridge Stocked With Water For Thirsty Outdoor Workers

Avatar

If you’re feeling thirsty and dehydrated sitting in your air-conditioned office, then chances are that outdoor workers are feeling the same… if not WORST during Dubai’s scorching summer months.

At times like this, the least we can do is leave a bowl of water for stray animals and provide everyday workers with just the basics e.g. juice/water/milk/a soft drink or anything to help them cool down and keep their hydration levels in check.

Taking workers around his community into consideration, a Dubai ressie, Abdul Rehman left a mini-fridge outside his home stocked with water for anyone thirsty amid the rising temperatures.

Let’s quench the thirst of these people together. Every bottle will help 🙂

Rehman added that he was sharing this gesture as a means to reach out to his network and more people involved in filling up the fridge at his Umm Suqeim residence with water or other summer-friendly cooling drinks.

His caption reads,

…On Friday I put a small fridge outside my house with water for the gardners/cleaners etc. In 6 hours, 100 bottles of water gone 🙂

Today 100 bottles gone and it’s not even 2 pm. So I am just reaching out to my network to see if anyone wants to help fill this up 🙂

Not asking for money, so please don’t ask me for the account number etc. If you want to donate water only, reach out and will work out something.

Let’s quench the thirst of these people together. Every bottle will help 🙂

In case you’re looking to help, you can drop Rehman a message on his Insta and ask him for his location!
