Goodbye Chilly Mornings! UAE’s Cold Snap Takes A Breather

After days of bundling up in jackets and scarves, it looks like UAE residents can finally look forward to a little relief from the recent cold snap.

The coming days will bring a mix of fog and mist, especially in coastal and inland areas. If you’re an early riser, you might need to add an extra couple of minutes to your commute as visibility could be low during the early morning hours.

Expect Tuesday to be partly cloudy, with more cloud cover over eastern and northern parts of the country.

On Wednesday, temperatures will creep up by two to four degrees Celsius. But hold onto your jackets, this warm-up is just a tease. By the end of the week, things will cool down again.

Now, if you’re dreaming of rain, your wish might just come true

By Thursday, the UAE might see some light rainfall, particularly in the northern areas, including Sharjah. And this wet spell could stretch into Friday, making for a soggy end to the week. Expect drizzle across northern and eastern regions, including Fujairah.

Not only will you need your umbrella, but be prepared for winds picking up to 40 km/h, and seas getting a little rougher in the Arabian Gulf. It’s a reminder that the weather’s still got some tricks up its sleeve.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Tuesday: Misty mornings, partly cloudy skies
  • Wednesday: Temperatures rise by 2-4°C, mild warm-up
  • Thursday: Light rain possible in the north, breezy conditions
  • Friday: Rain could extend into northern and eastern regions
