Okaaaay, it’s getting REAL down here in Dubai with Indian Premier League (IPL) squads trickling down and starting preps to resume the 2021 tournament in the UAE from September 19.

IPL fans in Dubai spotted cricket LEGEND and GOAT, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain of Chennai Super Kings) on Saturday, September 11 and began chanting “CSK” as he made his way to the rest of his team.

And speaking of MS Dhoni, just last week Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI), announced that MS Dhoni will mentor the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be hosted by the BCCI from October 17 to November 14 in the UAE and Oman.

Over the weekend, Mohammed Shami (playing for Punjab Kings) shared a selfie and expressed his excitement over resuming the highly anticipated IPL 2021 series in Dubai

IPL was suspended back in May due to COVID-19 outbreaks in its bubble and will now resume after four entire months here in the UAE.

Delhi Capitals franchise confirmed that players including Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma and all safely landed in Dubai for the tournament

The team will be staying at Sofitel Dubai The Palm… where you may just find us staking out with big lens cameras and binoculars.

Last year it was a close call between Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians, for which the latter emerged as the IPL 2020 winner!
