WATCH: A Tourist Who Fell Off Jebel Jais In RAK Was Rescued By UAE Authorities

UAE authorities have released footage of a rescue on the weekend, after a tourist was injured while on Jebel Jais hiking. 

The European male reportedly was injured while climbing Jebel Jais, and the Ministry of Interior Eagles unit jumped to action – airlifting the man to safety. 

The man was admitted to intensive care following the incident and is now in a stable condition. 

Authorities are urging anyone trekking on Jebel Jais to take precautionary measures for safety 

Including wearing protective clothing, and always being with a qualified guide or professional who knows the area.
