Zainab was an eight-year-old Pakistani girl who was horrifically raped and killed on her way to a Quran recital.
Zainab’s last moments were caught on CCTV, she was being lead away by an unknown man. Her body was found days later in a rubbish dump, 2km from her home.
This is not the first child murder in the Pakistani city of Kasur, (there are reports of 12 similar cases in just two years) and there’s uproar from the Pakistani people who think the police could be doing more to put a stop to it.Â
So shattered this morning. Deeply Saddened, Shocked, Angered and Horrified reading about little Zainab. What kind of barbaric mentality do people who commit crimes like this have? World stands with the parents of 7 year old Zainab. #JusticeForZainab @CMShehbaz
