This Man Got Jail Time And An AED 500,000 Fine For Sending Insulting Messages To A Business Partner
A Lebanese man who cursed God and sent threatening messages to an Emirati, his former business partner, has been fined AED 500,000.
Over three messages, the Lebanese man threatened to harm the Emirati in an argument that escalated over financial issues.
He pleaded not guilty
The man, who pleaded not guilty, was jailed for three months for blasphemy and for threatening his partner and will be deported following the jail time.
According to a report from Gulf News, the man has 15 days to appeal the primary ruling.
