Information Released By LinkedIn Has Shown How Professionals In Dubai REALLY Feel

We’re officially happy!

We can’t say we’re surprised, but at least now there’s proof..

A survey released by LinkedIn to employees in the Middle East and North African region identified ‘happiness’ as part of their job titles. We can’t think of a whole lot of jobs with happiness in the title, but there you go.

The data released was part of a ‘digital mapping of the economy using information from 3 million LinkedIn members’, and it makes the UAE the number one country in the MENA region with the highest number of “Happiness” professionals.

Can we thank the Minister for Happiness?

The UAE was one of the first countries to appoint a minister (and officers) solely in charge of the happiness of the residents. The happiness of the citizens is clearly one of the Government’s top priorities. Whether this recent survey reflects her recent work is unsure.

“It’s clear that the UAE is the happiest place in the region to live and work – our numbers can confirm it. Not only is the UAE home to many people with ‘happiness’ in their job title, it is also a thriving hub for start-ups. With fantastic education and employment opportunities, it’s no wonder that so many different nationalities call the UAE their home.”

Nada Enan, Senior Manager for Marketing and Public Relations at LinkedIn Middle East and North Africa.
