A Filipino man has been arrested by the Abu Dhabi police following a failed attempt to rob a money exchange office. 

The 54-year-old, who wore a mask to hide his identity, used a stone to break the glass counter and then produced pepper spray to attack the cashier with, according to the Abu Dhabi Police Instagram page.

The police managed to foil the operation before the man left the exchange office. The man has confessed to the crime telling police he committed the crime because he really needed money.
