A man was detained at Kochi airport on a SpiceJet flight form Dubai after he was caught hiding 1kg of gold wrapped in paper behind the toilet seat. The Khaleej Times reports that the gold has been recovered and handed over to customs. 

‘Why always me?’

Gold is something that is often associated with Dubai, whether is the ‘gold’ named bars, gold dispensing vending machines, or pure gold cars. So we are not very surprised to learn that this story originated in Dubai.

People seemed more shocked in India than in Dubai!
