A Jordanian finance manager will serve three months in prison before deportation for molesting a 22-year-old Filipina co-worker and sending her pornographic images.

The Filipina dodged the man’s repeated attempts to grope her and after receiving indecent images and videos via WhatsApp, the woman reported the lewd communications to the director of their company. 

The incidents took place in July and August 2016 and the man was sentenced to deportation following a three month prison sentence.

The man appealed the three month sentence, but the court upheld the ruling

The defendant pleaded not guilty however an inspection of his phone proved the messages had been sent. He will be deported following the sentence.

“The first time, he grabbed me by the hand, but I didn’t pay too much attention to it. He then grabbed my hand repeatedly and later touched my thighs. I tried to avoid him and dodged his repeated attempts to grope me. Later, he started sending me pornographic pictures on WhatsApp … I told the director and reported the matter to the police. In my complaint, I informed them that he had groped me. Whenever he molested me, I was too scared to shout at him, or scold him at the workplace. I again reported him to the director once he forwarded me images and video of sexual nature.”
