Back To School: MBZ Wishes Students And Teachers On The First Day Of School

Avatar

Sunday, August 29 marked the special occasion of thousands of students returning to school after what’s been nothing less of two very long and challenging years.

Students, faculty members, parents, caretakers all will now fall back into the routine of schooling and… well complaining but these are the kinda complaints that you want in your life (tiffin complaints, homework complaints, sleep deprivation complaints… you get the gist). But the complaints come with a bunch of boons such as meeting your pals after the longest time, human interaction, fun extra circular activities that help you develop your hobbies and etc.

So with that being said, Sunday was an immensely emotional day for parents and kiddos alike, for which His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces shared a sweet message, thanking ‘students, teachers and parents for their determination to overcome recent challenges.’

The full message reads,

“As classes resume in schools across the UAE, let us say thank you to every student, teacher and parent. Your adaptability and determination to overcome recent challenges ensured that education never stopped. And it never will. We wish you all the best for the new academic year.”

Schools in Dubai will allow for hybrid learning only until October 3, after which in-person learning will become mandatory for all schools in the Emirate

Moreover, according to the Ministerial Council for Development, the number of school days for the new 21/22 academic year is 186

Winter break for students is expected to go on from December 12-30 and spring break is all set to commence on March 27 and last until April 14, 2022

Schools in the country have reopened after a 58-day summer break
