Small plumes of smoke were seen emerging from the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach this morning, thankfully the minor fire was swiftly dealt with by authorities.

All guests and staff were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.

This is the third fire in five days to occur in the Marina area, following a fire in the Torch tower early on Friday morning and a minor fire in the Tiger Building which originated on a balcony on Sunday.

The hotel has addressed the fire on social media, commending the DCD for their efforts
