Fancy car number plates have always been somewhat of an ‘it’ factor here in the UAE and especially Dubai, so it’s no surprise that a unique car number plate like the one you can see beside us has gone viral.
A vehicle plate design showing the name ‘7AMAD’ instead of digits was shared by @HamadAlMajidi on Twitter and has since created quite a buzz on the microblogging and social networking site.
The user clarified that the number plate was a decorative piece that he had bought from an American website over 5 years ago and also added that such customized number plates would be a great financial opportunity for Dubai… for a low production cost.
“The Dubai government can create an excellent source of income at almost zero cost, by starting to put numbers and letters on cars.”

And we can’t help but nod along in agreement!
