It’s wintertime so that must mean NATURAL rainfall time? …Well, think again because the National Center of Meteorology shared a tweet on Friday, December 6 stating that areas in the Fujairah Emirate could be facing varying levels of rainfall and hashtagged ‘cloud seeding’ in the tweet.

The rainy weather over areas in Fujairah is expected to continue till December 11. So, if you are planning a trip down to the Emirate, famous for its rugged mountains then do remember to carry an umbrella along and ditch those fancy sneakers at home.

All doubts CONFIRMED. The unexpected rains were an act of men and men alone…

The NCM uploaded a series of videos of rain over Fujairah’s Al Bidiyah area on their official social media handles

The rains that are expected to pour on till December 11 – will be intensifying from Sunday onwards

Hence, motorists are being cautioned to drive extra carefully when driving up or downhill from long drives to the mountain ranges.

The NCM also stated that UAE residents will be able to enjoy cooler weather in the forthcoming days as temperatures are expected to decrease even further

The Jebel Jais Mountains will be seeing lows of 8° to 9°C in the coming days.

This means that it’s OFFICIALLY sweater weather sistaaas!
