The girls were soon found at a nearby ACE Hardware. Police later confirmed that the children had briefly walked outside their residential community but were unharmed.

The children were reunited with their family shortly after being located. A video captured members of the community clapping and showing their appreciation for Dubai Police and the neighbours who helped ensure the girls’ safety. Dubai Police also took to social media to reassure the public, confirming that the two six-year-old girls were safe and back with their family.
