This walkway is exactly what the Palm Jumeirah has been waiting for

Perfect for long afternoon walks, the newly completed 11 km boardwalk will feature restaurants, food trucks, and shops. It was a dream dreamt up by developers Nakheel, which turned into an AED 150 million project (don’t you just love Dubai?) and the grand opening is taking place in November. Although you can access the entire boardwalk now along the East and West Crescent of the Palm

What you can expect:

Two piers will also be added at each end of the walkway

Both stretching 100 metres out to sea, this will be ideal for visiting boats, but we’re suckers for restaurants on piers (we blame 360 and Pierchic) so we’re crossing our fingers for a restaurant to be added here too.
