One person is confirmed dead, and two more with serious injuries following an accident on a roundabout on the Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai Police shared news of the incident, which saw a truck carrying a heavy load, overturn on the road at a roundabout.

The two injured have been hospitalised, and emergency crews are on site.
