The beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan depends on a moon-sighting, so while exact dates haven’t been revealed, astronomers can make a close guess.
And experts predict Ramadan will begin on Monday, May 6 and in accordance with those dates, both the KHDA, some malls and the Roads and Transport Authority (TRA) announced their timings.
For the duration of the Holy Month, classes will start by 8.30am and finish by 1.30pm

*For malls listed above, the food court will be open for dine-in throughout Ramadan, however – restaurants (both in the food court and individual restaurants) have the option to serve during the day or just after iftar.
Dubai Bus will run from 4.25am (Gold Souq) to 12.25am (following day)
Dubai Tram will run from 6am to 1am (following day) Saturday – Thursday and 9am to 1am on Friday
Dubai Metro will run from 5am to midnight on weekdays and from 10am to 1am on weekends
Split parking will apply. First shift – 8am – 6pm. Second shift – 8pm – 12am
