Australian rockmelons have been removed from UAE shelves.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment made the decision after it was found that melons in Australia had been contaminated with a bacteria named Listeria.
Australian authorities have reported four deaths so far.
The contamination has been linked back to a farm in New South Wales, Australia, according to international reports.
Authorities in the UAE have taken the decision to deny the import of rockmelons from Australia, unless they are declared contamination free.
