The RTA Is Taking Bids To Name Seven Dubai Metro Stops

The RTA is taking tenders to name seven Dubai Metro stops on the new Expo 2020 route, it has been reported.

Gulf News has reported that the RTA will sell the rights to the stations soon, speaking to the CEO of the RTA’s rail agency, Abdul Mohsin Ebrahim.

It’s reported that the RTA has generated AED2 billion worth of revenue by naming rights of metro stops.

Current branded metro stops include

  • UAE Exchange (Jebel Ali)
  • Ibn Battuta
  • Nakheel Harbour
  • DMCC (JLT)
  • DAMAC (Dubai Marina)
  • Nakheel
  • Sharaf DG
  • Mall of the Emirates
  • FGB
  • Noor Islamic Bank
  • Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall
  • GGICO
  • Etisalat

The seven new stops will be part of the Expo 2020 route

And the sale process will open soon on the stations, located on the new 15km stretch of metro.
