Sweeeeeeeet.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a 75% discount in taxi flag-down rate from April 16 to May 30 for passengers arriving through Al Maktoum International Airport.
Why the huge discount you ask?
The move coincides with the DXB Southern Runway upgrades, which means some flights will be diverted to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Passenger traffic during this time is expected to rise by 700% at Dubai World Central airport, according to reports.
The reduced taxi rates will continue until the completion of the Southern Runway upgrade.
