The heroic actions and quick thinking of 17 year old Mohammed Al Ahammadi saved the lives of a family caught in a fire in their villa in Ajman last week.
He has now been rewarded for his bravery by the Ajman Civil Defence.
He then saw two children trying to escape the fire by jumping over a fence. He came to their aid helping them to safely escape from the blaze.
Aided by another man he used a ladder to climb to the children’s aid.
He then contacted emergency services and the fire fighters were quick to the scene of the fire.
Upon arriving at the villa the rescue team was able to put out the blaze and rescue an elderly man and his daughter before removing them to hospital.
The Syrian hero was commended by the Ajman Civil Defence for his show of bravery and life saving actions.
