Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of Dubai has taken to Twitter to officially congratulate Donald Trump on becoming the 45th President of The United States. Our esteemed leader has excellent international relations and this can only bode well for the future. 

While a lot of tweets coming from Dubai at the moment represent dismay at the result, and are comparing it to the Brexit vote, this use of social media by the Prime Minster sets the tone of how we should behave and react to this decision. We should congratulate a successful victory and respect the democratic decision of the American people.
