The Dubai postal service has been called into question by Dubai’s leader himself after a secret shopper revealed a less than satisfactory service.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has a reputation for ensuring quality service across Dubai, and he did not hold back after a visit from a secret shopper to an Emirates Post branch revealed a less than satisfactory service.
“I got this picture from a secret shopper checking the level of service at Emirates Post. This isn’t our usual level of service, and anyone who keeps giving such low quality service will not be part of my team anymore”.

He went on to share a report, put together by a team who inspected various Emirates Post branches, which highlighted a less than satisfactory service.
The statement from Dubai’s ruler is clear: poor service will not be tolerated. However, the sharing of that message is also a reminder to all other institutions regarding standards AND it’s a transparent approach to governing that leads to better service across the board.
Love this from HH.
