Showing genuine compassion for a UAE footballer, Dubai’s ruler visited an injured player at his bedside.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai visited Ahmed Rabie at Dubai’s Rashid Hospital.
Rabie is a midfielder for Al-Jazeerah and he was injured during a friendly match last week.
Rabia will be unable to play for between five to six weeks after suffering a head injury, when his head hit a lightpost at a match in Al Khawaneej on Thursday.
The injury is not serious, however HH Sheikh Mohammed’s visit and instruction to the Sports Authority proves he’s ensuring there will be no similar accidents in future.
