The man, and transgendered woman were arrested during a photoshoot in a mall.

The transgendered woman has transitioned from a male, however her official documents were not updated to reflect her gender, so was detained, along with the man.

According to The National, the duo have had their punishment reduced to a fine (of AED10,000) and deportation, and will not be required to serve jail time.
