At just 55-years-old, Sridevi was seen with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi in Ras Al Khaimah just last week celebrating a family wedding.
As told to the Khaleej Times, Bollywood legend Sridevi passed away in her hotel room in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, after her husband flew in to surprise her…
Kapoor flew in to surprise his wife with a dinner date
Kapoor flew in that very evening to surprise his wife. Sridevi went to the washroom at one point and after 15 minutes passed and she did not return, her husband grew worried.
He went to check on his wife, forced the door to find her motionless in the bathtub. He attempted to revive her, but to no avail. He then called a friend of his, and informed the police at 9pm, according to the report.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but she was pronounced dead.
Her body was moved to the General Department of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. Dubai Police need to issue a death certificate before her body can be repatriated to India.
