Dubai parents and students are on high alert following an incident outside a school in Oud Metha.

Two, Year 6 female students from GEMS Winchester School reported they were approached by strangers in Hiace van and a black car, according to ARN.

The girls ran and immediately reported the incident to authorities who are investigating.

Students are reminded to be extra careful in the wake of the alert

GEMS Education said, “The incident outside one of our schools was brought to our immediate attention and we confirm that all our students are safe. The matter is now being investigated by the authorities. GEMS Education places significant importance in child safeguarding and student safety on school premises” according to the ARN report.
