The Crime Rate In Dubai Has Significantly Dropped

Dubai Police report there’s been a 31.5% DROP in crime in Dubai in comparison the last year.  The General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID) released this year’s impressive numbers citing 14 additional projects that have helped keep the crime rate low, according to ARN.

Crime drops in numbers

• Between January-September in 2021, 145 international fugitives were apprehended by Dubai Police.
• The Lost and Found Department returned worth AED 373,300 in 2021
• And finally, the Department of Anti-Economic Crime seized AED 9.3 billion worth of counterfeit and fake products during the last five years, and arrested 2,536 people charged with those crimes..
