The Expo 2020 family of mascots were unveiled via a short engaging movie in an adorable ceremony held on Thursday.

The unveiling of the mascots was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council along with members of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee.

Brother and sister duo – Rashid and Latifa are revealed to be science prodigies that will be unlocking the wise tree’s secrets by exploring past Expo inventions and discovering the new ones

The unveiling of the mascots took place at the Dubai World Trade Center on Thursday

Salama the magical talking Ghaf tree is one of the main Expo 2020 mascots as well

Joining the Emirati siblings Rashid and Latifa will be Salama the wise Ghaf tree, and super guardian robots Opti, Alif and Terra. These are the members that the Expo 2020 mascots will be made off.

Salama the all-wise Ghaf tree is said to represent the deep-rooted values upon which the UAE was built. From the UAE’s history to culture, Salama the tree knows it all!

The exciting unveiling of the Expo 2020 mascots was also attended by a large number of students from public and private schools from here in the UAE

Well, it sure looks like Dubai is all set to host the World’s Greatest Show for more than a million visitors
