The UAE Will Temporarily Host 5,000 Afghan Citizens On Their Way To Third Countries
The UAE has agreed to temporarily host 5,000 Afghan nationals who were evacuated from Afghanistan, prior to their departure to other countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced that the UAE, at the request of the USA, will host the Afghan citizens on a temporary basis, before they travel to other countries.
Evacuated Afghan citizens will leave the capital, Kabul, in the coming days, on American planes to the UAE.
The UAE has also previously helped with dozens of flights carrying foreigners from Afghanistan
…including diplomats and support staff from different countries and non-governmental organisations to UAE Airports.
