Earlier today, as we reported, an EgyptAir plane was hijacked and detoured to land in Cyprus. Thankfully, the incident was resolved by local authorities in Larnaca and all 81 passengers disembarked safely. 

The motives of the hijacker were the subject of much internet satire. Egyptians are known for their humour, and they certainly showed their witty side today.
