800 New Traffic Machines Are Being Set Up So There Is No Excuse For Not Paying Your Fines
800 new traffic machines are currently being set to provide convenient payment facilities for road users…should they need to pay a fine.
Earlier this month, it was announced that HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai had reduced all traffic fines made in 2016 or before by 50% as part of the Year of Giving.
According to Major General Mohamed Saad Al Sharif, assistant commander-in-chief in charge of the Department of Administrative Affairs, the police were receiving complaints about payment facilities, so this was a generous move to lessen the fines.
People are urged to take advantage of the discount
Dubai Police are launching the new machines in collaboration with Max Box Middle East (MBME), Emirates Post and five local banks, according to local reports.
