Troops From The United States Have Been Deployed To Saudi To Help Up Their Defense Systems

On Friday, the U.S. had deployed additional military personnel to the kingdom to help strengthen their air and missile defences. This decision has come post the major attack on the oil facilities in Saudi, which the Trump administration has blamed Iran for.

During the press briefing at the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Mark Esper had stated the objective of sending in U.S. forces to the Middle-East is purely defensive in nature and that the decision by President Trump to send in troops is in acknowledgement to the UAE and Saudi requesting for military assistance.

The U.S. also have their troops stationed in Syria and Iraq

The Pentagon will be providing more information on the subject of the deployment by next week
