A TV station, under Dubai Media Group, and its crew have been found guilty and fined AED 5,000 each. Ouch.

They played a prank on three Emirati women at a mall and aired it without their consent. The result: the women filed charges against them and accused the show of breaching their privacy. They also sought financial compensation for emotional damages and family problems reported WAM.

The station and its crew were found guilty by the Abu Dhabi Court of Misdemeanours.
