Travellers looking to fly to Pakistan, there’s some good news.

UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA, has lifted a ban on flights to Pakistan, allowing airlines registered in the UAE to resume flights to Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar.

The decision by the GCAA came following stability in Pakistan’s airspace, as per WAM.

”The situation regarding other Pakistani airports will be reviewed later,” the GCAA said.

Emirates airlines took to Twitter to announce the resuming of its services

However, Emirates flights going to/from Sialkot and Lahore are cancelled until March 4, it added.

Etihad, on the other hand, will serve all its flights to Pakistan, with the exception of Lahore until Match 3. It also added that all its flights will be upgraded to larger aircraft to accommodate previously disrupted passengers.
