The unfortunate and tragic incident that killed Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has sent shock waves across the world, and now the UAE has backed and hailed the Kingdom’s directives issued by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in the investigation of the case.
UAE’s Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, praised King Salman for his “great efforts to explore the truth and seek legal accountability, which he said reflects the transparency and justice in his decision-making on the case.”
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by its leadership, was and still is a state of institutions based on justice and fairness. The royal decisions and actions taken after the investigation in this case reaffirm these values and established principles to ensure the implementation of law and justice.”
