It was just 14 days ago when we told you that the UAE Passport made an incredible jump in the Passport Index ranking from 23 in February to nine in the list of the top 10 most powerful passports in the world.
But lo and behold, it has risen in the ranks yet again from ninth to eighth in just half a month.
The news comes right after the UAE signed two visa-waiver agreements with Paraguay and Serbia recently on the sidelines of the 73rd UN General Assembly meet.
With a visa-free score of 158, UAE citizens can travel to 157 countries where Emiratis don’t have to obtain a visa prior to the travel.
With this speed, UAE’s goal of positioning its passport on the list of world’s five most powerful passports by 2021 is a definite reality.
1. Singapore and Germany

3. Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, Japan, UK, Ireland and Canada
4. Czech Republic and Hungary
5. Malta, Malaysia, Iceland, New Zealand and Australia
6. Slovenia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Slovakia
