This Weekend Is A Public Holiday In The UAE: Here’s What You Need To Know

Avatar

This weekend marks Isra’a Wal Mi’raj, a national holiday in the UAE.

It’s been officially confirmed that Dubai will be dry from Friday, April 13 at 6pm until Saturday, April 14 at 7pm. UAE bars and restaurants will have a dry day/night during this period, to mark the second holiday of the year.

The holiday is based on the sighting of the moon, so it’s still unclear whether it will fall on the weekend or whether Thursday, April 12 or Sunday, April 15, will be marked as a public holiday. You will be updated as soon as an official confirmation has been made.
