Virgin Galactic, the world’s first registered commercial space airline (YES!=, space!), is at the Dubai Airshow, and Business Dubai reports that a handful of UAE residents have purchased tickets- aiming to become space tourists next year.

The UAE interest in space and exploration is no surprise, after all, we just witnessed the historic embarkment of the first Emirati astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansoori to the International Space Station (ISS). The world’ first commercial spaceport took part in the annual exhibit where they discussed aims to bring forward humans spaceflight aboard its aircraft.
