“High level of preparedness”

According to the Ministry, the claims misrepresented facts about the UAE’s defence system which has a “high level of preparedness, technological sophistication, and operational readiness.”

The statement made it clear: the country maintains diverse, integrated, and multi-layered air defence systems capable of countering a full spectrum of aerial threats.

In simple terms – The UAE says its systems are built to handle threats of all ranges with the comprehensive protection across their national airspace.

Fully operational and ready

The Ministry also highlighted that the UAE maintains a robust strategic stockpile of munitions, ensuring sustained interception and response capabilities over extended periods.

It further stressed that the country preserves full operational readiness to safeguard national security and sovereignty. And above all, the safety and security of citizens, residents, and visitors remain an absolute priority.

A reminder for responsible reporting

Beyond addressing the claims themselves, the Ministry emphasised the importance of responsible journalism during such sensitive times.

The message from the UAE was direct and clear: media outlets need to verify information with official sources before publishing reports related to national security.

In times of heightened regional focus, the country isn’t leaving room for speculation.
