Detailed Report Reveals The UAE Is Second Safest Country In The WORLD

98.6% of residentsĀ feel safe in the UAE according to an announcement from the UAE’s Ministry of Interior.

Stats revealed the UAE has the lowest ranking of crimes related to sexual assault and theft in the world. The UAE has also the lowest number of fire incidents with just 19 fires recorded per every 100,000 people in 2017, according to a report at theĀ Federal National Council’s (FNC) via Khaleej Times.

The UAE also has the lowest deaths per fire incident with 0.040 deaths per 100,000 people recorded.

Deaths per traffic related incidents have also dropped significantly, from 13.5 deaths per 100,000 people in 2008 to just five deaths per 100,000 people in 2017, ranking the UAE seventh lowest in the world for traffic related incidents.

The UAE was ranked the second safest country in the world overall at a safety rating of 6.6, closely following Finland, the world’s safest country at 6.65.

The annual ranking compiled by theĀ World Economic Forum (WEF) was released this week and features three MENA countries.

1. Finland – 6.65

2. UAE – 6.6

3. Iceland – 6.57

4. Oman – 6.49

5. Hong Kong – 6.47

6. Singapore -6.45

7. Norway – 6.41

8. Switzerland – 6.41

9. Rwanda – 6.39
