New rules by the Dubai Municipality have been issued that mean smokers could be hit with an AED500 fine…if they don’t dispose of cigarette butts properly.
The new rules were announced by Dubai Municipality, in a bid to ensure the city is kept clean.
The fines will be issued to people littering, and the Municipality has stated cigarette butts come under this remit.
