ZOOM Has Been Shut Down By DMCC Pending An ‘Inspection’

Avatar

Update 6:06pm: The reason for temporary closure is a license renewal, so there wasn’t any other violation and the store will be open again soon.

The Zoom store in JLT Cluster F has been shut down by DMCC pending an inspection. The notice says they have breached the freezone rules and are closed pending an inspection. It’s not clear what rules they have breached, however there are other Zoom stores in JLT that have not been shut down. The iconic mini mart stores have been operating in the UAE for the past 25 years. Zoom has almost 300 stores in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

‘CLOSED: Due to violations of DMCC and or Jumeirah Lakes Towers FZ Rules’
