The Ultimate Guide To The Nad Al Sheba Night Challenge’s Obstacles
The Nad Al Sheba Night Challenge is on VERY SOON and is going to be a high-octane, super-fun obstacle course, on March 15 & 16.
It’s going to test people’s physical and mental strength, as well as your fitness and climbing abilities – and there are only 10 days left to register people!
Here are some of the obstacles to watch out for when you head down to the NAS Night Challenge.
1. Thread the needle
This one is three walls with holes at different heights to climb through… so you’ll need body strength to lift yourself…or someone to give you a hand.

Climb up and down giant mud mounds – and try not to fall in!
3. Net jump
Climb a cargo net three metres up above a large pool – and then you’ll need to climb down another cargo net. You’ll need to call in your practice of climbing trees as a kid for this one.
4. Twin Peaks
Climb over two big walls…you might need a pal to give you a boost on this one too!
5. Warped Wall
A tweak on 1/4 pipe with a slight overhang…this isn’t for the faint-hearted… and is SLIPPERY
6. Vine swing
Swing on ropes across angled walls above a giant pool, and make sure to hold on.
7. Cargo climb
Climb over a giant A-frame cargo net, up one side and down the next.
8. Chimney
Climb up a chimney and slide down a fireman’s pole… think you could handle it?
9. Mega cargo
Climb over container and a cargo net suspended above water…again – try not to fall in.
10. Mr Monkey
Climb over monkey bars above a water pit the wade through frozen water and climb up a incline wall only to climb down a rope…this one will test your mettle.
11. The Nutcracker
Walk across a narrow balance beam suspended above water…if you dare. You don’t want to slip, or it might just make you understand why it’s named this.
12. The Siege
Climb up a giant wooden ladder – climb across a cargo net suspended six metres above the floor and slide down a giant fireman’s pole, as fast as you can!
