The seven day Liwa International Festival has come and gone and you’re going to kick yourself for not attending once you see these images.

The festival is aimed at preserving local culture while mixing the old with the new and includes car, bike, camel, falcon and horse races, and a classic car show.

Powerful four wheels drives and bikers are also invited to tackle the Tel Moreeb, a dune that stands at over 300 metres high and is widely considered to be the world’s tallest.
